4.9.1.6 IDtmEvents::OnInvokedFunctionFinished()


This method can be called in the states:              

HRESULT OnInvokedFunctionFinished (
[in] FdtUUIDString invokeId,
[in] VARIANT_BOOL success
);


Description:
Notification by a DTM, that the asynchronously invoked function call identified by the invoke id is finished.

Parameters:
invokeIdIdentifier of the closed application
successTRUE if the operation is successfully finished


Return Value:


Behavior:
Notification by a DTM, whether the asynchronously invoked function call IDtm::InvokeFunctionRequest() is successfully finished.

Parameter invokeID: this is not an invoke ID for a closed application but for a invoked function.

An invoked function also finishes successfully in case the user cancels the operation. Cancelling an operation follows a defined use case and the use case was completed as defined, so it's successful. This applies to e.g. open-file-dialogs or save-file-dialogs which are shown during such the execution of the function.
