4.5.4.5 IFdtChannelSubTopology::ValidateRemoveChild()


This method can be called in the states:              

HRESULT ValidateRemoveChild (
[in] BSTR childsystemTag,
[out, retval] VARIANT_BOOL* result
);


Description:
Validates if a given device, specified by its systemTag, can be removed from the sub-topology

Parameters:
childsystemTagSystemTag of the child DTM


Return Value:
resultTRUE Topology valid FALSE Topology invalid


Behavior:
The channel has to validate if the device can be removed from the topology. If the DTM needs more information about the child it can get the DTM via IFdtTopology::GetDtmForSystemTag() passing the received systemTag.

Comments:
The validation must include a check for active connection and return FALSE if a connection is active via this channel.
