4.9.14.1 IFdtBtmTopology::CreateChild()


This method can be called in the states:  

HRESULT CreateChild (
[in] FdtXmlDocument deviceType,
[in] FdtXPath channelPath,
[out, retval] BSTR* result
);


Description:
For description of the method refer to IFdtTopology::CreateChild(). The input parameter deviceType changes as follows.

Parameters:
deviceTypeXML document containing the information specified by the BTMInitSchema
channelPath


Return Value:
resultSystem tag of the DTM. If the operation failed, a NULL pointer will be returned
