Evaluation boundary

Inventory legacy FDT, hosts, device assets, edition, licensing, and maintenance windows before promising a migration result. Cross-Platform Edition is limited to FDT 3.0 and Linux scenarios adapted for .NET 6; it does not cover FDT 1.2.x / 2.x DTMs.

Validation path

Provide assets and conditions, validate representative devices, then document applicability, exclusions, missing facts, and technical-discussion topics. Migration duration, downtime, rollback results, third-party defects, and interface details require project-level confirmation.
