Cross-Platform Device Management Solution
Designed for system suppliers, system integrators, and plant-owner technical teams, this solution uses mmIDM as a candidate device-management foundation to evaluate device standards, operating environments, and upper-level system interfaces together.

| Role | Typical question |
|---|---|
| System suppliers | Need to provide customers with a device-management foundation across standards and confirm responsibility boundaries for upper-level systems. |
| System integrators | Need to confirm OS / CPU, OPC UA, fieldbus, and PoC scope. |
| Plant owners / operations | Need to understand the boundaries between device management, existing systems, permissions, and audit responsibilities. |
Composition
- Main product anchor:
mmIDM. - Supporting products: Select according to target devices, existing assets, protocols, hosts, and validation objectives.
- Resource handoff: Product pages, the product specification index, FAQ, PoC Preparation Checklist, Compatibility and Migration Checklist, and Security, Permissions, and Audit guidance.
Key boundary table

| Evaluation item | Fact based on current mmIDM specifications | Boundary to retain |
|---|---|---|
| Device integration standards | According to the corresponding product specifications, mmIDM covers FDT 1.2.x / 2.x / 3.0, FDI, and EDDL device integration standards. | Do not describe this as automatic compatibility with every protocol or every third-party driver. |
| Capacity | In a standard test environment, one server supports connecting 20,000 intelligent devices. | Actual capacity depends on communication complexity, polling intervals, and deployment environment. Partitioned or multi-instance deployments for larger scales are within the scope of project implementation. |
| OS / CPU | Server operating systems include Windows 11 22H2, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, and Kylin V10; CPU architectures include x86_64 / ARM64 / LoongArch. | Refer to the product page and specification sheet for tested models and system requirements. |
Capacity testing uses an Intel i7 14700, 64 GB RAM, NVMe storage, Gigabit Ethernet, and Windows 11 22H2. This is not a capacity guarantee for arbitrary device combinations or polling configurations.
Applicability
- For solution definition, early-stage technical evaluation, and preparation of a standardized PoC.
- For confirming devices, protocols, hosts, operating environments, permissions, and responsibility boundaries before clarifying project scope.
- Do not introduce unauthorized cases or quantified results.
Exclusions
- Not a quotation, project schedule, implementation plan, acceptance criterion, or contract attachment.
- Does not promise unconfirmed compatibility, performance capacity, quantified customer outcomes, or unconfirmed roadmaps.
- Device integration is not an end-to-end business system.
Validation path
- Provide target devices, protocols, existing hosts / Frame / systems, operating environments, and security requirements.
- Select representative devices or assets for a limited-scope PoC based on the solution package.
- Document applicable / not-applicable boundaries, missing facts, and topics for the next technical discussion.
